Kate Stables had a broken banjo so opted for the guitar for tonight.

Rozi Plain on bass offered such fantastic harmonies to Kate's lead vocals.

A drunk man staggered around right in front of the stage for almost the whole set.

It always looks so effortless. They all unlaced and took off their shoes. They all appeared to be so comfortable.

My favourite bits of This is the Kit shows are the silences when Kate is tuning her guitar; thus heightening the anticipation of what is to come.

This was a whizz-popping zinger of a show from Everything Everything in the back streets of Cologne. The four-piece have seemingly got a tighter sound as the years have gone on, and this is the best they've ever been.

With the latest album A Fever Dream fresh on the tip of their tongues, songs from it featured heavily througout. Desire was quite simply breathtaking here; a heart leaping bombastic joyride. Seventeen featured in total, including a reach back in time for Qwerty Finger and Kemosabe.

With no luminous orange jacket this time, Higgs was able to command freely around the stage, and there were plenty of times where Higgs loomed over the crowd in front of him; this small room giving ample opportunity to stare in to the whites of the eyes of every audience member watching on.

It went down so well. And with an encore of Breadwinner, Distant Past followed by No Reptiles it was a sure fire winning show.
